SDEX (Stellar DEX)

Place limit orders, market orders, and manage offers on Stellar's native orderbook

TL;DR

The SDEX agent operates on Stellar's built-in decentralized exchange orderbook. Place limit orders at specific prices, execute market orders for immediate fills, and manage your open offers.

Place a Limit Order

Type your limit order. Example: "Place a limit order to sell 100 USDC at 8.5 XLM per USDC on SDEX"

Review order details. The agent confirms: asset pair, amount, price, and whether it will fill immediately or sit on the book.

Approve and sign. The order is placed on the Stellar orderbook.

SDEX limit orders have zero slippage — they fill at exactly your specified price or not at all. They remain open until filled or cancelled.

Market Order

Type your market order. Example: "Market buy 500 XLM with USDC on SDEX"

Review the fill estimate. The agent shows expected fill price based on current orderbook depth.

Approve and execute. The order fills immediately against existing offers.

Cancel an Order

Request cancellation. Example: "Cancel my open USDC/XLM sell offer on SDEX"

Confirm which offer. If you have multiple, the agent lists them for you to pick.

Approve cancellation. The offer is removed from the orderbook and funds are released.
